“Stadium 974” The World first transportable football stadium

Qatar has built the World first transportable stadium called ‘Stadium 974’ as they prepare to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Asian nation won the bid to host the World Cup and immediately started constructing some of what would pass to be the World’s most beautiful stadium.

Though their were controversies over the human-laborers used in building the stadiums, the stadiums are ready to host the world from 20th of November when the the competition kicks off.

Stadium 974 is slowly becoming a wonder as it is the first ever detachable football stadium.

The stadium can be completely loosened or detached and transported to a different country and be fixed.

The mobile football stadium was formerly known as Ras Abu Aboud and is located opposite the amazing West Bay Skyline close to Doha Port, Qatar.

How Stadium 974 was builtThe stadium was constructed by elite architects and engineers using shipping containers, removable seats and other modular building blocks.It is a 40,000 sitting capacity stadium with remarkable design. It would be dismantled and re-fixed after the FIFA World Cup.The shipping containers and other equipment used in the construction of the stadium would be used in other sporting and nom-sporting events.Amazing facts about Stadium 974Stadium 974 is named after the number of shipping containers used in its construction which are 974, and also Qatar international subscriber dialing code.

It hosted its first match between Syria and the United Arab Emirates on November 30, 2021, the first day of the FIFA Arab Cup.

Group C match between Mexico and Poland would be the first World Cup Match to be played at the venue.

A total of seven matches would be played in the stadium getting up to the round of sixteen.
