As an expression of our unfeigned sympathy and support to the Nigerian Military in securing our dear nation, I joined the Senate delegation to visit the military hospital in Kaduna to empathise with the Wounded In Action(WIAs).

The delegation was ably led by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on Saturday to show solidarity to our men who were brought there from the various theatre of operations around the country.

The visit formed part of the activities to mark the second anniversary of the ninth Senate.
The delegation to the military Hospital was received on arrival by the GOC 1 Division, Major General Danjuma Alikeffi and the Acting Medical Director of the Hospital, Colonel Stephen Onochukwu.

Beyond condolences, the visit was to ascertain the needs of the soldiers in terms of welfare and equipment for the Senate’s immediate intervention.

On our part was leaders we shall continue to advocate for peace.
